About Me
My name is Betsy Dorow. I started Sketchy Betsy in 2018 after my co-worker was looking for a custom digital illustration of a dog to give as a gift. I soon realized how many people value something custom made, and enjoy the playfulness that comes with a digital illustration.
My passion for art started with my grandmother, who is an amazing painter- she always encouraged me to take art classes and always to create.
I have a degree in Psychology & Business from the University of St. Thomas, and I am a Marketing Project Manager for a local manufacturing company. I am passionate about mental health & mindfulness, financial literacy, and animal rescue.
In my free time, you can find me walking my dogs, Maisie and Olive, around Lake Bde Maka Ska, spending time with family, or unwinding at the cabin.
